W22 Brake Calipers Recall

I was informed today that there is a recall on the brake calipers for the 2005 W22. So parts are covered, anyone know what the labor time is to change a caliper ?

IF your vin # has a "6" in the sixth position, you have a W-22 series, ALL of which were recalled to replace the 4 Bosch calipers. The recall includes the calipers AND the labor to jack the coach, R & R the calipers and re-install your pads. IF you need new pads and / or rotors, the parts and labor to accomplish that portion of the job is on you.

Do you KNOW the recall has not already been completed?

Send a message via AIM to Oemtech
Parts, labor and 1 qt of brake fluid. No pads or rotors or fluid flush.

You need to check your vin to see if the recall was done.

Hi I recently had the abs light on my 2003 Georgie Boy Cruise Master go on.

I found that the right rear sensor had melted. After doing some searching I found out about the brake recall on my W22 chassis.

Could you please tell me if mine has been completed? I did look at the calipers which are the Bosch 66mm Twin Piston Calipers.

My VIN # is 5B4MP67GX33357228/5BCA066303F069369

Thank you in advance.

WELcome to iRV2.com.

That is a 2003 W-22 with 19.5" wheels. It had three recalls and all were completed. The Bosch caliper recall, 51101-C, was done 2/24/2011 @ 12,460 miles.
If you want the "build sheet" send me an email so I can attach it to a reply. edgray1@gmail.com

Sorry, but I have no idea why you have a melted ABS sensor. Was that the only damage they found?
