W22 Brake Parts
We have a 2006 Southwind 37L on a W22 chassis. I was informed that all of the recalls have been performed but now I need to get new rotors, pads and Calipers. Where do I look and what am I looking for if I can't get the parts from Workhorse?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.Thanks

www.ultrarvproducts.com is an excellent source of genuine Workhorse parts. They even offer to double check for accuracy using your vin #.
If the recall has been completed, why do you want to buy replacement calipers? Those things are not cheap.

The calipers are dragging causing the rotors to overheat...turned blue and cracked.

I can’t say it is impossible for the calipers installed by the recall to fail, but if they have, that is quite unusual. If all 4 are “dragging”, that would make me think something else is at fault. I think you should further investigate before spending over a grand on more new calipers. Good luck.

Dginger: the Bosch caliper recall was completed on your chassis on 10-13-2010 @ 21,291 miles. The fuel rail pulse dampener clip was replaced 5-9-2011, but the WCC database shows the mileage was the same, which implies the coach sat at the dealer from October to May immediately after the "new" calipers were installed.
I would like to provide you with more info that MAY help resolve your current brake problems, but can't post it all here. Please send me an email to edgray1@gmail.com so I can attach the info to a reply.

We have similar calipers on our Beaver Patriot Thunder. If your calipers are "dragging" I would suspect the inner portion of the rubber brake line may have separated from the hose which can result in a "one way valve" effect which can cause the brakes to refuse to release. This happened to ours a couple of years ago. We had new hoses fabricated for all four brakes.
A word of caution, if the brakes have been dragging as a result of this problem, damage may have been done to pads, rotors and even the calipers. Check these thoroughly when the brake lines are replaced.

I would check with NAPA Auto Parts I was surprised that they actually have items that work with the workhorse w22 chassis

I wish to thank all of you for your help. My uncle, who is a master truck mechanic pulled the wheel today and inspected the pads, rotor and caliper. All is well there and he suspects that the hard pulsing we experienced was the ABS system engaging while we were descending a very long steep grade.

Yoyr rotors are warped. That's what causing the hard pulsing with heavy braking.
ABS will make a machine gun pulse and only if your braking so hard that the wheel is about to skid.

The rotors are probably warped and turning blue and cracked because of the hard braking.

W22 brake parts
Thanks for your help. We had a master mechanic pull the wheel and check the rotors and pads and they are fine. The first guy that checked just looked through the holes in the hubcaps with a flashlight. It only pulsated on the one occasion and it hasn't happened since.
