I have a 2004 Gulfstream on a W22 chassis . Just had it in and got the brake recall done . On the way home the whole dash cluster went dead . No lights no tach no fuel guage no speedo no nothing. Is there a fuse that i should look for . I called the shop that did the work on the brakes and they said they were no where near the dash as they just did the calipers on the recall.

Any one else had this happen?

Confused

Mine has a connector under the dash right about in the center of the firewall as seen with the instrument panel opened. It came loose once after a tech had worked on something else and I had symptoms similar to yours. Re-seated the connector and it has been good ever since.

After you check fusing and replugging the plugs in rear of board that still does not work you can get a new one for $375 by following these instructions.
Replaced mine this spring and it was only a week turn around you need to follow instructions for a return # to place on your shipping box and I went to UPS for box and they fill in the return # and shipped & returned.
I had eight screws to remove off dash mounting basal and they had clips they screwed into in rear of display.
I see nothing to reset cluster in this PDF.

Quickone,

Give Paul Windbigler a call at Actia Instruments--He's a weath of knowledge about the Cluster--Did you have the recall accomplished?--anyway his number is 574-266-2672. My cluster went in an out a couple of times during a 6 hour trip--It ended up be a loose ground wire at the cluster.

Quickone, There's a 2nd panel inside your coach. Check the fuse in that panel labeled; INST-BAT 5 Amp. If this fuse it blown or is not making good contact, your instrument cluster will present like a dead duck.
