W22 Dash heater control problem. All of the sudden the heater will only defrost no matter the setting. That happened to me years ago on a Ford class C and it was a chewed thru vacum hose. Could it be the same problem on a W22 chassis? It is a 2002 Dolphin LX.

rvronrv, The situation that you are describing is not a Workhorse Chassis issue but a coach issue. It is likely that you are indeed experiencing a vacuum leak somewhere under your dash on under your hood at the vacuum reservoir. If you can get at any of the controls on your HVAC see if there is a line there that is drawing a vacuum. It might take a little sleuthing but you should be able to rule out the most obvious things and then close on the problem.

Check the easy ones first, mine came off over on the passenger side, very easy to get to, and thats probably why it came off easy.
