W22 Power Steering Flush

Thanks "ktoutoor" for your 2018 video regarding the above. It helped me a great deal. My coach is a W22 and has 65K miles. Began hearing a whinning noise on a recent trip which I associated to the PS. The only difficulty I had was the removal of the filter. I could not get it off so I had to leave it in place. I do plan to get a filter tool that is noted in previous posts and replace with the new Wix filter. While at this project I also replaced the idler pulley and the belt tensioner plus installed a new serpentine belt. Took my rig for a lengthy test drive and unfortunately the whine noise is still there so I have to investigate further. Hope its not the tranny or rear engine bearing.
Thanks Again

I'm thinking the whine could be the clutch bearing on the air conditioning compressor. Try with a/c on and off to see if the noise comes and goes away.
