W22 Problems

Which end of the wedge creates the positive caster? Thick end on the rear of the spring tipping the axle forward ?

That's the way it's installed.

Before I spend a dime I would make sure that my weight was properly distributed through out the chassis. Putting to much weight in the rear will take weight off the front tires causing it to wander and give you the "white knuckle ride". I have experience with Big Wreckers and the more weight hanging off the back I had the less control up front I had. Air pressure is also something I would check as well. Just my 2 cents.
