Bills RV in Ventura Ca found that the Pressure Relief tube was never installed and fluid was being forced out of axle on the right side. Short fixed with a hose ans O ring. Hard t believe that it didn't have a vent from the factory BUT.
If someone is really good they can drill the housing, using magnets and gease (to keep the chips out) and install a piece of tube like brake line, that could be driven into the hole. To that you can attach apiece of rubber tube to extend it.

When I had my vent problem, Redlands Truck Center did some research and came up with a new design vent from Dana, I believe it is W8002811. I don't have my paperwork with me right now.

With your axle model number WCC should be able to provide a replacement.
