I don't seem to be able to find the rear suspension IPB for the 2004 W22.
Pg 3-68 shows shock attachment points that are different from mine. Also, the torque values surprise me considering the last time I changed shocks it took a considerable amount of leverage and pressure to loosen the nuts. Am I missing something in this strange maze of information?

They made a change in 2004 I think. My 2004 motor home on a mid 2003 chassis has eyes top and bottom on the front while the rears have an eye on the top and a stud on the bottom.
See Koni-RV

My notes say the torque required was 80 foot pounds.

Clay L is correct. I just put 4 Koni's on my 2004 Seabreeze a few months back. I had to spread one of the upper "eye" on one of the Rears, couldn't get the Koni bushing in. Used a Wood wedge and a 3# hammer. only needed about 1/64 " more space.
