I am very new to this and cannot find the part number for the 2100mh transmission filter. Also should I change to transynd (where to buy) or just continue with Dex III. My unit is a 2005 with Dex III currently. All help will be appreciated. I feel I am capable to change the filter myself. Thanks again.

Welcome ml dixon to irv2
If you go to "Find" just above you and type in "filter change 1000 trans" you will see info for your change. Take off the check mark. Not sure if its the same filter on 2100 but someone will come up with info for you. I bought my filter at a CHEV dealer and didn't cost that much. iIf you have a problem in Find let me know.

The spin-on filter for the 1000 and the 2100 are the same.

Didn't the 2005's ship with Transynd rather than Dexron III? I know Allison ships them with a partial fill of Transynd, but don't know what Workhorse tops them off with after installation.

Thanks, for the help. I found the 1000 number and was not sure if the 2100 was the same. This unit was prior to the transynd use on all workhorse units.
