W24 Matrix?

Can anyone provide me with, or tell me where to find, a breakdown of W24 chassis combos (transmission model 5 or 6 speed, parking brake and coach builder/models) by model year? I understand all W24s use the 8.1 GM engine and all came with 22.5" wheels, correct? I am looking at some used class A units and like what I have read about the W24 chassis.

I can't help with which coach builders built what models on the W-24, but I can tell you that ALL have the 8.1L /Allison 2000 series tranny. There is also a W25.5 as well.

The first model year is 2004. Prior to 2007 CHASSIS model year, they have the J72 AAPB, and beginning with the 2006 Model year they have the six speed tranny. The 2007 and later model years have the foot-applied PB and no AAPB. You are correct about the 22.5" wheels, and they all came with Michelin XRV 235/80-R22.5 tires. Good luck in your search.

You can start by looking at the VIN to identify if it is a W24 and what year model chassis it is (sometimes a year older than coach year model). If the 6th digit is an "A" then it is at least a W24. 10th digit will tell you what year it is "4"=2004, "6"=2006 etc. Once you get your search narrowed down to a couple units either myself or EdGray can supply you with a Build Sheet on that particular chassis.
