Thumbs down Warning sound is on with no lights on dash

I have the 2011 Workhorse 22D with the Maxxstar under a Serrano 31Z. Started a long trip across country and on first day climbing the I40 towards Flagstaff had the Check Engine Light come on along with the warning sound. It did not stay long, maybe 30-45 seconds and has not lit up again. However, we are getting an intermittent sound in our cab with no related lights on the dash. It came on about 15 minutes after the check engine light and did not stop. This morning is was not on when we started but about 3 hours into the day, it came back, (the sound, not the check engine light) although less sound.
Anyone have any experience with this, or heard of it?

Not 100% sure what your problem might be , but I haven't heard of a warning buzzer connected to the check engine light, I would suspect that the buzzer may be related to the leveling jacks and perhaps the jack lowered warning light is not functioning.
Brother-in-law had similar issues ( buzzer & light on his Workhorse ) from the levelers every 3>4 hrs. of drive time. Next time the buzzer sounds , try cycling the levelers retract; to see if the noise stops.

Tried that, with no results. It was back again today. Going to have to find a dealer or someone to work on it in either Roanoke, VA or Vero Beach FL, our two long stops
thanks for the info though.
