To my surprise it wasn't.

I've had warranty work previously done without problem, Workhorse Roadside Assistance shows my warranty start date as 9-1-04, and info under "My Motorhome" on Workhorse.com has 9-1-04 as date of purchase. Apparently it ain't offical unless the WCC warranty department says so. THEY didn't have my start date listed in THEIR file so they could not confirm work done yesterday was covered under warranty.

You might want to verify the warranty department has the correct info.

I would think that with roadside assistance and your "my workhorse" showing the proper date, a simple phone call should rectify the problem in short order. Especially since you have previously had warranty work approved. Good luck.

Kazoo Tom,

I agree, but be careful your using common sense and thinking logically.

Dealer talked with WCC Warranty. They said to have me contact the Winnebago dealer and have them submit the "sale info."

I talked with Roadside Assistance and they had my purchase date but when they looked at the "official" warranty department info the start date was blank.

Hmmm, let me see. It's either a very good roadside assistance that guessed when I bought it or someone in the warranty department dropped the ball.

Good news: Today I verified with both WCC and the servicing dealer that my warranty start date has been entered. That means I'm officially under warranty.

Bad news is that my 3yr warranty expires as of Sept 1st. It was good while it lasted.

We have I believe a similiar problem with ours as when I login to the WH site and go to My MotorHome, it shows to be registered to another username. Linda DeHaven with customer service is checking it out for me.

I just updated the owner information on the WH website, now wondering if I can squeak an extra month or so on the almost expired warranty?...their warranty start date is inaccurate...any ideas?
