is the airconditioning unit that is powered by the 8.1 vortex in my W-22 chassis, the air conditioner with its controls on the dashboard, covered under the workhorse warranty?

thanks?

Bruce,
The parts that are attached to the engine and radiator may be.Compressor condensor and fans and freon lines. The parts that are in and under your dash are added by the coach mfr. are probably not.

thanks for the details of how the division of 'chassis' vs 'non-chassis' parts functions in regard to chassis warranty.

There is a complete rundown on page 89 of the Workhorse Gas Motor Home Chassis Guide as to what is Workhorse responsibility and what is not. Workhorse says they are responsible for: Delphi/Harrison compressor, Condenser, high pressure switch, Receiver drier, electric condenser fans, compressor discharge hose and low-pressure switch.
