Here is a copy of the "Glove Box Card" that was enclosed in the Interim Notice envelope. You can click on the image and it will take you to my "Brochures & Documents Album" to see a full size version of the card. Click on the image in the album to see the full size version. I think that this copy is pretty legible but it's very clear when seen in full size.

As all of these brake threads were developing over the past number of months, a lot of folks out there were saying … “It would be great if Workhorse could at least send us a letter detailing what to do in the event one of us has a brake failure.”

I think that someone at Workhorse was paying attention and that’s exactly what happened. All owners of effected W series motorhome chassis were sent an “Interim Notice” and a Quick Reference Card. The notice is what we have in our hands at the moment.

The Interim Notice fully explains the range and scope of the problem and who is affected. The Notice and Quick Reference Card are essentially there to assist us in identifying if we have a problem and what to do about it in the “Interim” until the “Recall” letter is sent out to all owners.

In the event we are subject to any of the “Warning Signs” please flip the card over and it will tell us, “What To Do.” Basically that’s it in a nutshell. I would encourage everyone to read and reread the Interim Notice. It is “not” the recall letter that we need to have in order to get the campaign cleared. The actual recall letter will be mailed to each of us as soon as a number of replacement parts are available.

Before contacting Workhorse we need to make sure that we have all read the notice. If you are experiencing any of the symptoms described in the “Warning Signs” call your local Workhorse Service Center. If you are driving and experience any of the indicators listed on the glove box card, immediately contact Workhorse Roadside Assistance – 877 946 7731.
