I am writing this to you folks sitting while here at the ABC Campground in beautiful Branson. It is a bit blustery out right now but the sun is shining high over Missouri and everyone is here for a good time.
We're scheduled to go out to a couple of shows tomorrow, we're having a Hobo Dinner tonight and I'll keep you folks informed as to how things are going.
Edgray is here as well with his 2 big puppies and it was very nice meeting him for the first time.
All the WCMC folks we have met so far have been really nice.
Chris Christy is here and he'll be speaking to the club on Friday. If you folks have any questions between now and then for Chris please let me know so I can present them to him.

Helo Driver. Ask Chrirsy about getting more WCC serevice centers. Also how they go about getting them. I know the Chevy dealer here in Crossville, TN. has been trying to become a WCC service center. See you at the FMCA INT. rally in Lebanon, TN. if you are going there.

I met Edgray while here in Branson. It's really a lot of fun to meet people that I have been commutating with over the past 2 to 3 years.
See you in Lebanon, 10-O-C

We did 3 events today, "The College of the Ozarks", "The Pace Arrow Show" and the fabulous "Lost In The Fifties Show".
The Lost in the 50s show is not to be missed if you're coming to Branson. It is really good stuff that could actually make a run in a more serious place like Broadway for instance. Great harmony, dancing and all around fun. The comic relief was provided by a "Barney Fife" character who emulated Barney down to the T.
The Pace Arrow show is more contemporary music and a bit of gospel music. Again this theater had comic relief rendered by one of the cast members and it was wholesome and down right funny.
The College of the Ozarks has a museum and it takes every bit of the hour and a half the tour bus gave us to see the 3 floors of the museum. They have a good firearm collection from many different donors you can see just about any type of firearm there that might have been in and around the Ozarks over the years from Gatling to Derringers. There is a magnificent wildlife exhibit featuring lions and tigers and bears. They also have a collection of songbirds and other birds that number in to the hundreds.
What differentiates the COA is that the student population that attends the school pay no frees for their education. They work it off. They live in separate dorms, men and women and they work at either producing items for sale or working in kitchens in the jelly and fruit cake bakery or take care of the cows, cattle and pigs that they have on the farm. It's truly something you want to spend time seeing. The kids there waved and smiled at the tour bus when we were driving around the campus. We really felt that we weren't intruding and we were welcome.
Of special note there is the chapel that is built in the Gothic style and it was totally built by students and contains some of the most colorful stained glass windows we've seen. The church is non denominational. We concluded our visit to the campus with a soup and salad lunch which was very nicely presented at the "Keeter Center".
Last night and tonight we may have T-Storms however the days are sun and and cool. Tomorrow there's going to be Club meetings and Workhorse seminars.
The event will conclude here Saturday morning and a good group of us are heading over to Lebanon, TN

RVTEN: you definitely will want to meet up with DriVer, just as did. I had expected him to be a serious guy, with lots of WCC information & "pull". Well, he is. But he has also been fun to be around and is refreshingly honest in his role as Workhorse's Ambassador to the RV community. He is traveling with a friendly, fun loving wife and the cutiest long-haired weiner dog you'll ever see!
Sorry I won't be joining you guys at Lebanon, but we are going to our neice's graduation from USC (Gamecocks)
There is a contingent from this WCMC rally caravaning over to Tenn. on Saturday, so watch for them and say hello! ED

RVTEN : don't count on it. 58F. at 4:00pm overcast, and windy. We have had very little daytime rain, so it has been tolerable. It is a refreshing change to someone like me from the heat and humidity of southeast La. ED

Hi Bobcat!
I installed the WCMC Avatar for you.
If anyone else wants the WCMC club logo displayed as their Avatar and they're right with their club dues then we can set it for you.
The requirements are you must be both an "FMCA Member" and a "WCMC Chapter Member".

Most of us departed this morning under a pretty blue sky and sunshine. There will be 11 Workhorse Chassis Club Members in Lebanon, working as Seminar Volunteers.
Our club VP for Membership will be at the Chapter Fair, so if you have questions or are interested in joining the club, she is the person to see.
Had a great time in Branson, sightseeing, attending shows and being with fellow WCMC members.
If all goes right, the sun will follow us to Lebanon.
Bob Beitler
President, WCMC

There are only a couple of WCMC members left here at ABC in Branson. We are enjoying beautiful, cool weather and more shows instead of heading to Lebanon with the rest of the worker bees
This was my first WCMC rally since I joined the club in January 05. I have to say the members who were here, some of whom are charter members, made us feel welcome and we had a lot of fun participating in the various events the club put on. I've already made a lot of $$ by agreeing NOT to publish pictures from the Hillbilly costume contest!
I want to encourage other WCC owners to keep an eye on this forum for more information as to WHEN & WHERE the NEXT WCMC rally will be held. You should make plans to join the club and ATTEND the rallies. You will have the opportunity for great fellowship (and FOOD). You'll also learn a lot about the chassis you bought from the experts who come from WCC to support the club with seminars and Q & A sessions.
If any of you reading this are planning to attend the FMCA "Tennessee Jamboree" next week just east of Nashville, be sure to look for the club's represenatives working the event and get your personal invitation to come join the fun. ED

Too many rallys and too many clubs to attend all. Be in Branson in July once a year there is enough.(traffic)See ya'll in Lebanon first FMCA for us and first time we get to meet some WCC owners in the club. Be on the front porch with the hound dog and a jug.
