I checked the oil level in the wet hubs on my 2004 W22 Workhorse. The left side was right at the line but on the right it was about 1/4 inch off the line. Do you feel I need to add a little gear oil in the right side. It has probably been this way every since they replaced the seal on that side. I see no leaks and no oil on the wheel or hub cap. I am thinking it should be ok as long as I see the oil.

I realize that there is a high level point mark, and then the lower level mark, personally I would be more comfortable to having it full to the proper level. JMHO

darbyjudy, Go ahead and add a little fluid, just don't overfill it - it makes a mess.
