All,
Linda and I can't thank everybody enough for the great time we had. It was awesome putting faces to the names here. Driver, you and your wife did a great job. We just stopped in Virgina for a break and we've been talking about how much fun it was and I know my wife didn't want to leave. The good news is we're off to another rally. I can't belive how good the coach is running, Oemy you rule!! Max it was a blast hangin out with you and Cindy. LeeB thanks for the laughs, we'll be doing it again for sure. I can't get over how well the Safe Steer works, how did I get by with out it? I'll be changing my sig. for a week and robbing banks all the way up the east coast. The good news is the coach will work as a get away vehicle now....
Thanks again to our new friends,
Al and Linda

Al, I couldn't agree with you more. It was an outstanding rally. Mike, Colleen, Beau, Connie and all the rest of the helpers made it work.
I just wish I had more time to the attend some of the festivities. But, I came to be a vendor and tried to provide the best service to "my customers" as possible.
I ran 2 7% grades going over the "Continental Divide" on I-26. I had to pull it in 3rd gear. But, I was running 55 mph at about 3800 rpm's and passed every big rig that had passed me for the previous 5 miles. On the up hill side the cluster showed about 5 mpg and on the down hill side is was showing about 14.5 mpg . I am sittng in a little RV park just on the other side of the TN/NC border. It will be interesting to see what the gas mileage is for this tank of gas. I filled at Sparky's in SC for $3.19 with 10% ethanol. Lots of hilling runs and lots of flats.
If any of my new UltraPower customers see this maybe we can start a new threat on how your 8.1 Workhorse powered rig reacted to the changes.
OBTW -I saw $2.89 gas while I was still in SC.

Jon,
Way to funny!!! My wife even got a kick out of that one. I look forward to the day we can hook up in the middle of the country someplace at a rally.
Talk soon.
Al

Out bound from the beach and entering Conway, SC on SC701 I fueled at 2.999 and adjacent at the C&C gasoline was priced at 2.959.
Now I was so impressed with that price that I filled our tank. I am so glad that I didn't fill when we came home at 3.97 just a few short weeks ago when we returned from PA.
Saving a buck a gallon is cool!

Arrived home from the Rally today, such a long and tiring drive, left Ocean Lakes at 10:55, pulled into home at 11:25.
Thank you to all who attended,I hope you had the great time that Connie and I had.
Met many really SUPER people, and learned a few things in the seminars.
LeeB, Keep us informed on the #1 Niece's progress in school.
