DW and I have been dreaming again. What coach due you think would be a good mate for the UFO chassis? Currently we believe only Rexhall is using the UFO chassis, and we are not enamored with any of them.

You you can find an Adventureer LE if you look hard enough. Those ARE very nice coaches indeed! Try Tom Johnson in Marion, NC.

If you can get Media to grant you a test drive do it. You will not believe how nicely the UFO chassis drives and stops.

Once you drive you will be hooked, and the Limited is a nice floor plan.

Is WH still building the UFO? I assume they are rare because dealers are not ordering them for their stock ( probably because they are more expensive than other gassers but can a customer order a MH built on the UFO?
I'm sure you could get a better deal if you found one in stock though.

Max, As far as I know the UFO may still be ordered by an RV manufacturer that wants to build on one. Rexhall is currently building on the UFO and I would not write off the possibility of other OEMs ordering the chassis as some point when it makes sense for them to do so. The UFO is still a SKU.

In recent press and My Blog we have seen where Tiffin has built a small rear engine diesel using a MaxxForce7 engine. I expect that others can do the same thing using a UFO chassis.
