i was interested in replacing the shocks with the Koni's but when i look them up apparently for a 2003 there are shocks for and for a 2004 there is a different model shock. i have a 2004 fleetwood model year but not sure if they used a 2003 workhorse chassis W-22. is there a way to tell diffinetly what year it is before i order them so i get the right ones?

From left to right beginning with 5B4, the 10th digit is your "Year". In your case the 10th digit in your VIN# might be a "3" and if you are getting Koni shocks it does matter.

You can also take a look at your rear shocks to see what style they are. If it is a '04 & up it will have pin style mounting top and bottom and if it is an '03 or earlier it will have a pin bottom and an eye top.

2004 & Up

2003 & Before

The fronts will be the same for both the older and newer chassis.

thanks for the good answers. i checked the vin and it is a 04 chassis.
what would be considered a decent price for 4 konis for a 04 w-22? just don't want to get screwed and take the first price i get.

If you call one of our sponsors you'll get a good price the first time and you won't get the "s" word.

Mike or Jon @ Brazels RV and Keith @ Redlands RV. Tell them you saw this on iRV2.
