I often get depressed hearing about problems even tho they're not mine cause I figure , 'it could also happen to me'.
My MH sat for 4 months and I went out in the morning and dewinterized it at 25 degrees because we were going to Moab.
The entire MH must have been excited to go because not one thing went wrong. @ 19,000 miles it acted like a brand new one with no bugs. It was only 900 miles RT across the Rockies and even some Moab dirt roads, but I'm proud of it. All I had to do was wash it.
I hope this makes everyone feel better because the same thing 'could happen to you' when you get out and about again.
Well I do have one problem, every time I turn the generator, inverter or plug in , the dang rear TV turns on. And I can't get to the plug so I have to turn it back off every time.
Driver, can you get the engineers on this problem ?
And my new OEM Engineering fuel filter adapter worked just fine but I was hoping it would get me about 10 MPG instead of the normal 8

I am happy to hear about your good fortune with your motorhome. We too have enjoyed 4 years of fulltiming with no major problems or breakdowns until last Friday. Our Fridge sprung a leak and is now non functional. A new one will cost $4000 and a new cooling unit for the old one is $1500, not including labor. The real problem is there is no room to move it out to work on it. Everyone that has looked at it won't touch it. I think it's going to take a trip to the factory to get it done at the tune of probably $5000 or more. I still feel fortunate that this is the only major malfunction in 4 years of fulltiming.

I sat for 5 days in the Central Florida Fairground and surprise! ... when I came off my jacks, my left outside tire was flat as a pancake.
Colleen made up a soapy solution and put it in a spray bottle for me. In the meantime I was able to inflate my tire using my Craftsman "tankless" compressor up to the 90 psi I run in the rears and stopped at 93 psi.
I got the wheels off the ground with a little help from my friends and I was able to spin the left side duals and spray every inch of the tread area while spinning and observing for leaks. No drips, leaks or bubbles. Next I targeted and sprayed the valves! AHHHHHHA! There is was bubbling out of the valve stems. So here I am with "Equal" in my tires and what I believe has happened is that the equal has backed up into the valve stems when I previously checked the air pressure and some of the equal became lodged in the Schrader valve.
Once I blew all the beads out of the valve with the compressor the pressure held and is still holding fine. This brings this all back to Camping World again! Apparent to me is that they did not install values suitable for use with the equal that they installed in the tires causing the valve stems to leak. Valve stems specifically designed for use with equal have filters in the stem so this doesn't happen.
At some point before we get on the road, we're going to dismount the tires and remove the equal, spin balance the tires, rotate the tires from front to rear and finally I'll be able to install my new Pressure Pro. I have been reluctant to install the PP since I know I have equal in the tires and I was unsure about the filtered stems. I did not want to contaminate the sensors with powder so I held off. I guess I was right about the not installing the PP.
We have a Michelin tire shop in town here and I have to go and see if they can spin balance 22.5 inch tires. If not there's a shop toward the beach that might be able to get this job done.

Driver, what model number is your Craftsman air compressor? Is it very bulky or heavy? I would like to carry a small compressor that'll handle the 22.5 inch tires.

Driver,
Camping World would probably be happy to remove the Equal and install a set of Centramatic Continuous Wheel Balancers for you. They will be even happier when they get your $600. ;>
Keep it safe!

What they forgot was that when you compress air it will get hot. There isn't a moisture trap on my compressor and I don't know how that effects the tire long term but my last set of tires lasted the 5 years that they were supposed to.
Sears has any number of tanked compressors which are small enough to be portable and yet be able to inflate a tire up to 110 psi. I have found that 12 volt compressors are a waste of time and effort BUT if you have all day it might work IF you don't melt the compressor down first.

I had a guy come up to me in Orlando that told me that he had his tires inflated with Nitrogen. That's great if you have access to N2 all the time since tires will loose a bit of pressure over time.

Holy Cow! $4000 for a fridge? I thought CW had them for a $1000 or 1500. Are you saying there is no way to get the fridge out , without taking a wall down?
Sorry to hear about that. It's bad enough when our stick house fridge went out. Twice in 4 years.

Max49. Moab is my favorite place. I try to get their each fall, on my way to Florida (Moab being on the way to Florida from my New Hampshire summer home). Hope you have a Jeep.
DriVer: I carry a 10# CO2 bottle (purchased from "The Source"). This is really handy as it contains a huge amount of "air" and quickly fills a large 22.5 motor home tire. Many Jeepers use these. If you were a purest, which I'm not, you can have the tank filled with nitrogen but most use CO2.
In regards to Centramatic's. I have read many times that these are not recommended for rigs with disk brakes as they interfer with air flow around the brake pads.

Joe,
Being in the gas compressor manufacturing business, I just wanted to mention a couple of points regarding carbon dioxide (CO2).
1. Carbon dioxide has a great affinity for water - it wants to absorb water vapor wherever it can find it.
2. When carbon dioxide is in contact with water vapor, it will form carbonic and carbolic acids. I'm not sure that I'd want these inside my tires in long term contact with steel or aluminum wheels.
As you say, CO2 may be useful in a pinch, but it's much less inert than nitrogen.
