Where Can I Find GVWR for Chevy 3500 Class C
Hi Everybody,
My 2000 Chevy 3500 Class C Yellowstone Sport 28 foot MH is missing the GVWR sticker that according to the manual is supposed to be on the driver's door jam. I just weighed it at a truck scale and it came in at 12,500 lbs and I want to make sure it is not overloaded. My wife seems to think, that if it fits, it's good to go. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I think it is likely to be 14,050 pounds GVWR because that was typical for the "cutaway" cab and chassis that WCC sold to the coach builders on behalf of GM.
If you will post only the last 8 digits of the chassis vin #, I will see if the details are stored in the WCC database. You could also ask any Chevy dealer to check it thru their system.

Strange that it isn't on the door jamb but since it ain't, have you tried looking in a cabinet? Most motorhomes have a printed out sheet inside a cabinet that gives all the weight details. Ours is at the rear of the rig inside the wardrobe cabinet.

My 2000 E450 class C Yellowstone had a sticker in the overhead cabinet, just behind the drivers seat.
There was also a hitch capacity sticker in the rear closet wall.

SORRY. I just noticed you posted it is a 2000 model year, so please disregard my post quoted above. Ed

Corrected Chasis Info
Sorry gang, it is a 2000 Chevy 3500 EXP (Express) cut-away van chassis that is under a 28 ft Yellowstone Sport Motorhome. A Chevy dealer referred me to a website ECS Automotive Concepts - Home to purchase a replacement decal.
