Where is A/C condenser on 8.1?

My A/C was not blowing cold when idle prior to dropping off at dealer for work and now no A/C at all even at highway speed on norm or max. I believe my freon is good but am assuming the condenser is locked. Where is it so I can see? Under dog house? Is the condenser something you can swap yourself or better left to a professional? Thanks

What year & which chassis? Can you tell if the compressor clutch is engaging? Have you checked the fuse and /or wiring harness to clutch?

The condenser is "usually" in front of the radiator, and 'May" be stacked in with the oil and TFT coolers. Newer chassis don't use the stack, and on some I think the condenser is actually part of the radiator (mine was).

Because of the laws about Freon recovery, these matters are best left to the pros ....

I don't know anything about their GT service capabilities, but the Director of Service in Buda is a former Workhorse RSM, and his techs have done excellent work for me several times. I live in MS, but wait until we're over there to get stuff done......

I believe your 04 chassis will have the A/C condenser mounted in a stack in front of the lower portion of the radiator.
