03-W22; Hi, I asked about this a couple of months ago and somebody said there was a plug directly opposite the factory water temperature sender guage on the head. Could not find the wire coming off the head, so I went to the CD and workhorse says its a brown wire next to the thermostat. Nothing there either. So for clarification, I am trying to add a cyberdyne water temp guage to the engine, and am looking for a place to install it. I may not have been clear before? If the factory guage is on the head, then please tell me where on the head so I can go to the plug that is supposed to be on the other side. If not there, then please tell me where best place to hook up guage. Thanks in advance . Jim C. p.s. had a couple of friends look also and they where not sucessful in finding the guage or even this Brown wire either??

On the drivers side cyl. head, directly above the 2 center spark plugs there is a plug that has a square imput in it. The end of a 1/2 inch socket extention should fit inside of it. The temp sender unit is in the same hole on the oppisite side of the engine. I can see mine by just looking over the tire into the wheelwell.
