Look straight into the engine compartment and too the left. It is up by the air dam. Use a flash light you can't miss it.

OK thanks, now that I have found it, how in the heck do you add fluid. As you said, it is about 6 inches back behind the radiator.

I used a plastic tube that fit inside the trans dip stick pipe and ran it out to a oil filler funnel. It was slow but it worked ok.

You can get a funnel with a long neck just for adding trans-fluid. Any auto parts store or Wal Mart.

First off make sure you check the fluid as your manual instructs you to do. You didn't state what type of engine and trans you have so make sure you use the right fluid as stated. An Allison newer trans would sure not like the old types of fluid.

Although you "could" mix conventional fluid and Transynd you certainly are not going to want to go down that road unless it were absolutely necessary. You would have to drain and refill your transmission with Transynd afterward to restore the high level of protection afforded by the synthetic fluid.
There should be no reason why you should be adding fluid to your transmission. If there's a leak you would need to get that fixed.

Tom, do you need to add fluid NOW, or are you just trying to be prepared? Trannie fluid leaks should be investigated, and corrected as soon as possible.. rgr...

Correct, I would rather research these things before I have need of them.
