Costco sells Chevron Techron in 6 packs. About once a year I add a 6 pack to the tank when I know am going far enough to burn through the whole tank. I also run the generator for at least an hour on that same trip to clean out the carb on it. This last tank I ran 5 cans of seafoam through.

When we had about 10,000 miles on our 2006 Suncruiser we had 3 plug wires burnt on thr rear cylinders. Workhorse said it was due to poor airflow to the rear of the engine. They installed a kit that brings in air from the front of the motorhome to the rear of the engine. They knew there was a problem and it was taken care of at no cost to us. Now have 29,000 and have had no problems.

Mike,

I agree that a better way to clean is to run the engine on the cleaner, but the once a year use of Techron was a preventive measure that anyone could do. I've used Lucus products with good success over the years on other vehicles but the WH tech specifically said Techron was better for this purpose.
