I have had the coach winterizws but ths dealer does no workhorse work. My question what to i need to do to get the engine and workhorse winterized. I live in southern OKLA and we will have freezeing and sub 10 degree weather off and on until the first of march from the 1st of Dec.
Plan on going again in march so what do i need to do any help appreciated. ( PS closest WH dealer is 125 miles away)

Chuck: assuming you can see pinkish-orange colored anti-freeze in the coolant recovery bottle, then you don't "need" to do anything to protect the chassis from the cold.

IF you have not done an oil change recently, I would recommend that you drain and refill with "fresh" 5W30 motor oil. Then you will want to replace the oil again when removing your coach from storage to get rid of the water that can accumulate in your crankcase due to condensation.

Also, whenever parked for extended periods, it is a good idea to put a rubber mat "moisture barrier" under all the tires. I use inexpensive automotive floor mats between my tires and the concrete to prevent tire problems. ED

I would also put some fuel stabilizer in the gas tank and then fill the tank to mix the stabilizer and to minimize air space and condensation. Also, run the gen-set after putting in the stabilizer to make sure it gets into the gen-set fuel lines and carb.
