007 - since we have the same Newmar 3740 motorhome maybe you can help me. My wiper blades are shot and I need new refills. On the PPL site they have the Newmar Kountry Star listed (mine is a 2004 on a 2003 Workhorse W-22) but they have it at 32". Is the 32" correct are they wrong? I have mine in my hand and it definitely measures 31-1/8".
Do you have a place where I can buy the 31" blades? Is there any alternatives?

Thanks

I just bought a set of NAPA Pn# 60-2656 Fleet Edge wiper blades. About $80.00 for the pair.

Went to Cape Hatteras, wiper blades came in handy.

DriVer, what advantage did you get with a $80.00 pair of blades?

Not sure the small difference in length will be noticeable. We bought a set of 32's while at Newmar. It's more important to check for how it attaches.

After extensive searching I have not been able to find refills for 32" blades. The longest I have found were for 28". I also replaced them with Fleet Edge. Some I have talked to have changed the assembly to 28" because of the availability of refills.
If anyone has located a source for 32" refills I shure would love to hear about it.

I did the same thing and have not had a problem....$80 for wiper blades !!! Come on, they are made in China! I'll use the Walmart $12 blades thank you. I carry an extra set all the time.

These blades are massive heavy duty truck style wipers. I have previously tried discount store types of wipers on my rig with limited results. The smaller automotive style blades are too flimsy in my opinion. My last set of blades worked well all the way until the rubber began to tear off the backbone of the wiper blade. I ran the old blades for about 3 years.

These very same wiper blades were ~ $50.00 each for at Camping World 3 years ago. Apparently I paid full retail but I was needing the wipers then and I was leaving so no time to shop. These things did cost too much.

DriVer; I am looking for a resource for just the wiper blade refill not the whole assembly. Thought someone may have located them. Terrible waste to have to buy the whole thing when the only part that needs replaced is the blade.

Lots of luck in finding refills. I bought 6 sets for my 24" blades from NAPA. When these are gone I will have to buy the complete blade as refills are not being made.

I found the blades at Welcome to Rome Truck Parts, Inc.. Mine are not the bolt on but I believe they sell from many manufactures. I pulled the manufacturer off the wiper motor to get the correct blade. They don't have the blades listed on the web site but when I called (1-800-234-4345 they were very helpful. The price was $20 each.

I went out and measured my blades and they appear to be 26s. Right now both arms are sitting on tennis balls.

The MH points to the north and the sun does not beat down on the front of the vehilce. I also have a pair of windshield wiper covers that I obtained from Prompt RV Sunscreen when I am in the sun.

I bought a 28" Michelin wiper blade at Walmart for $7.97. I had no problem drilling out the rivet and enlarging the holes for the bolt sleeve. I compared the "cheap" blade to the expensive 31" blade that was orginally installed by Newmar and I tell you the "cheap" blade looks at least as strong. For $8 I thought I would try it on the passenger side and see how it works.
