Question Wiper Washer Fluid Pump Motor Stays On?

I have an 02 Damon Daybreak W22. The Washer fluid motor continues to run. I had to unplug it so it didn't empty the tank. Anyone ever see this?

Nope! Mine just started doing the opposite this weekend. On the way home from the river my washer pump quit working. I thought a wire might have come loose, but once home I looked and it looks fine. So I need to pull off pump and test. If its the pump I will replace it. They are pretty universal and most auto parts stores carry them. If the switch then I will have to figure out where to get one of those.

It's been awhile, but I had one do the same thing on a Buick. Put a multi-meter to it and found continuity. Must have been a bad/stuck switch or contact. Changed out the pump/motor...fix it and sold the car the next week. Bob

DON'T do THAT though! ;-)
