CarlJudy, 2004 Adventurer, Workhorse Chassis.
We are going to have recall work done in near future and are wondering if there is a better brake pad that the one that is used for the recall. We are W22 Chassis. Thank you

The brake pads that will be installed on your rig are perfectly fine and are matched to the performance of the caliper and rotor. I don't recommend an alternate pad unless you are wanting to opt for high performance rotors.

As a side note:
I had about 46,000 miles on my coach when I had the brake recall done last November. I intended to have the pads replaced at the same time. The shop said he would only charge for the pads - no labor - and that it would be about $150 for the pads. The mechanic said I still had over 40% of the pads left so I opted not to have them replaced.

That's fine. Just keep an eye on them. I was wearing by rear pads faster than my front pads. I kept the front ones that had over 60%-70% remaining we figured. By the time my rears need changing again I expect that the front will catch up and I can charge all 4 sets.
