Workhorse R20, R22 Chassis Shocks
My 2007 Gulfstream Crescendo 8386 with a 2006 Workhorse R20 Chassis needed new shocks, but finding those replacement shocks has been quite the adventure. Workhorse and GM state that the OEM shocks are no longer available and none of the usual outlets (auto or RV) list a replacement for them. I took one of the front shocks off and was able to find a Gabriel brand name on it with two sets of numbers (T601120BB and 7805-W-1011). I called Gabriel and the shocks were discontinued and no longer available. None of the shock manufacturers (Bilstein, Koni, Gabriel, and Monroe) show any cross reference numbers for them, but Monroe was able to find one based on the measurements and corner load rating. The front shocks are Monroe 65107 Gas Magnum 65 and range in price from $57.00 each on Rock Auto to $81.00 at Napa. I'll post what I find for the rear shocks when I get them off the RV. I hope that helps others and keeps you from having to do a bunch of research. Koni was still looking so if I hear something I'll share that. Bilstein and Gabriel just flat out said they couldn't help me out.

Old vs New Front Shocks
Here is a picture of the old front shock (Blue) and the new front shock (Yellow) for reference.

I believe we have used Koni part # 8805-1016 on the front of those.

I checked with Koni and the 8805-1016 has eyelets on both ends. You probably meant that you have used them on the P20 and P30 chassis. Won't work on the R20 or R22 unless the upper shock mount is replaced, and I am not sure about that due to the shock travel. Assuming that you changed out the upper shock mounts, I suppose you could adjust the mount height to make them work. Thanks for the response though.

Thanks Jon, Wonder why Koni told me twin eyelets now. When I checked the UltraRV site for my chassis (R20) under the RV Suspension > Koni Shocks > Workhorse, there were several shocks listed, this shock and my chassis weren't there, all I got was this: https://www.ultrarvproducts.com/Koni-Shocks/Workhorse
Had I seen the R20 listed, I would have bought the Konis.

Workhorse R20, R22 Chassis Shocks
Problem is there is so few of them out there and Workhorse did some experimental stuff with the RDP so we can’t guarantee fitment.
