YES, the WCMC rally WILL be held. The registration forms will be included in the next newsletter, and will probably be available online after that.
The dates are May 9-13-2012 at: http://www.guadaluperiverrvresort.com/ in Kerrville, TX.
Hope to see you there!
Ed

Noleakman:
I can't imagine where you heard that stuff...but the WCMC Newsletter is not at all affected by the "workhorse move".
In fact, the company has no part in producing or distributing the club's newsletter. It is assembled by its editors, John and Virg Holtzapple, who are dedicated WCMC members who volunteer their time and efforts to put it all together with the input of the officers and other contributors. It is then emailed to those WCMC members who have provided the club with an email address, and I think it is still being postal mailed to those members who have requested a printed copy instead of the electronic version. Those members who have changed their email address recently should notify the membership VP because that is where the info is kept........NOT at Workhorse (the company)
I don't know the exact date it will be sent out to the members, but I think they are working to get it done by the end of November. I do know it is a BIG job, having done more than a few of them myself.
It should be available to everyone via a download from the club website shortly after it goes out to the membership.

Since it is Mother's Day weekend I won't make it. Following week would have been great

I have to focus all my attention on the "WCMC Rocket City" rally in Decatur, AL. I wish I could do both. I may be making the rounds since I also have to go to the National Rally in Sevierville, TN. Leaving there I'll swing south and the following week the WCMC RC Rally will launch.

Unfortunately, I'll be leaving AZ mid may east to the ocean, north to the border, west to the other ocean and then south to the other border.
I wonder how Mothers day was chosen and how many others won't be able to make it because of thet.

Even NASCAR doesn't race on "Mother's Day!" Point taken!
It must have been the best date available at the campground OR it was chosen to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the Club as close to the original date as possible. I know my DW would be ticked if I tried to celebrate our anniversary on the week after.
You know, if it were that easy to put on a rally, everybody would do it. Regretfully some members will not be able to attend. If you were there 10 years ago, I would think that you might be inclined to attend.
It would be just the rotten luck that everything would be perfectly lined up and then the weather would kick into over drive. I recall hearing of a Homecoming Rally that turned into a mud bowl.
