I took my 2003 W22 to a large truck alignment shop to have my algnment checked. They told me my rear axle was off a bit but there was no adjustment to fix it. Has anyone else had this issue?

I have had that alignment done at Brazel's as well as a FEA, Safe T Steer, and Konis. After that work the coach felt like a totally tamed highway machine. Now I really can enjoy the ride!

Call Brazels or Redlands and ask them about it.

A good friend leased large numbers of school buses and purchased many new buses every year (most on International chassis). He always checked the rear axel alignment and often found them off a little. It is not impossible to correct but it is not simple and thus not cheep.

Jeff, I see you are in Dallas. If you will give Bob Steger a call at:

Standard Spring & Axle
2511 Hickory Street
Dallas, TX 75226
214-421-2126

They will fix you up and their prices are very reasonable along with first class work.

Good luck - Glenn

Jeff Webb, Yes sir there is an alignment process and its called setting the Thrust Angle". This angle is adjustable and it can be corrected. In extreme cases you can see the vehicle doing what is called, "Dog Tracking". Find a shop that will check for this and correct it.
