Hello everyone! I just discovered this site from some other rvers who were having the same problem I am with my WH recall on my calipers. I have been told that the WH dealer whom I should call is unreliable. I know people who have brought their motorhome to them for other problems (transmission) and it was not repaired properly. I am not sure where to take my motorhome to now! It is currently in Myrtle Beach, SC at a campground til I get back down there and pick it up at Christmas. ( I am currently in upstate NY). I am traveling to Sarasota, Fl for the winter and there is no authorized dealer nearby. Has anyone had a problem with their calipers and have been recalled by WH? If so, I am wondering since I have over 15000 miles on my coach, I am hoping that I will be okay til I get back to NY. I do not like taking chances, especially where brakes on motorhomes are concerned, but I don't want to take it to this place in MB and have more problems afterwards. Any suggestions?? Thanks, Marie

Thank you all for replying to my message. I will call Larry's and see when he can get me in. Do you think it will take all day to repair? If I need to replace my pads and rotors, does anyone have any idea about how much it will cost? I have a 2004 Gulfstream Sunvoyager. Any and all help and suggestions is greatly appreciated since I know NOTHING about brakes and this recall and I am traveling alone (well with 3 dogs!) Thanks, Marie

I also have a 2004 Sun Voyager and when I took mine in for the recall they told me that the front Pads were about 1/2 gone so I elected to have them replaced at the time, the cost was around $85.00 for the pads. they tried to charge me labor but when they realized I was no dummy they forgot the labor. they should be no labor because they have the pads off anyway to replace the calipers. Good luch with Larrys I have only hear good things about him so far. I think you have made a good choice to take it to him.

Do you have a W-20,21,or 22 chassis? Did you receive a recall notice from WCC?
If the answer to either question is yes, then yes you should have the recall completed. Otherwise, your P series chassis is NOT included in the recall.

Darbyjudy,
Who is they? Are you saying Larry's tried to charge for labor or someone else?

If you still haven't gotten the recall done on your brakes and you live on the Central California coast, try the Sunset Auto Center in Lompoc. they are a Workhorse service center and they treated me right. you may have to wait since they are a small shop but it beats going to Bakersfield which is the next closest service center. If you haven't gotten the recall done, what are you waiting for?
