Carl Judy 2004 Adventurer Worhorse Chassis. Brakes burned up in 2009. Workhorse denied problem was brakes but did reimburse us for most of expense. Balance left is $737.00 Workhorse has said they will not reimburse sales tax, deductible or replacement of hub, seal and bearings on front wheel. Our question - Is this a standard practice in cases like this. We never did receive an explanation except to say "Workhorse does not reimburse for tax, deductible, and would not cover the parts listed above.
Thank you for your comments

I have had claims on my home and cars and in both cases the insurance covered everything except my deductable. Unless you have something specific in your policy that states exclusions you should be reimburst for those items. Check your policy and then contact them back and have them show you in your policy where it states this and why. My only thought is because they said it wasn't the BRAKES that is there out.

You would think wh would have learned by now but Im not surprised. Great cust support huh! I had all 3 of my failures reimburshed in full after being turned down a half dozen times by the lovely lady in their reimburshment dept. Do not give up if you know it was related to brake failure and if I was a betting man I would say it was. Small claims is one route to try.Good luck

I have had similar problems and get letters that don't begin to address the problem I have. They seem to have given up in the customer service department. I went through Good Sam Action line and they didn't even bother to respond. The "lady" in the recall department have been snotty to many of us and the only reason they don't get rid of her is that many people just give up. We can very close to being killed and they are snotty" No company that cared would be doing this. They do the recall, but if you had problems prior to the recall, you are on your own, They do only the minimum required by law.

Alas, It seems Workhorse has it's own program.. Every time I've had warranty work done on a vehicle the bottom line on the invoice read $0.00

Workhorse it seems is trying to get by for less. There is a deductable on warranty work? Since when?

wa8yxm, I believe that's the language that the OP chose. There are no deductibles on warranty work.

I dont believe the op was talking about warr work since his chassis is a 2004 and since his fail date was after the bs wh Reimburshment date of nov 2008 (I believe) they cant use that for an excuse either. Dont give up. It seems thats what they want. Good luck
