Workhorse Service Center ???

I have a 2006 30' Itasca Sonova on a Workhorse chassis. I see there is a post for Favorite Workhorse Service Centers. I have had good luck with basic service and even front end body and windshield replace here in San Diego, Ricks RV.

So my question is should I be looking for a " Workhorse " center? Are the ones listed in the post Favorites just places that people have had good service or these are places that are Workhorse special?

There is one in the favorites that have received good reviews for a few different folks, Redlands Truck and RV. This is about a 1.5 hr from me and I have no problem going that far if it is a center I should really seek out because I have a Workhorse.

Thanks, Kelly

The service centers are (for the most part) intended for chassis issues, not the coach. Although some may also do coach work that is not the intention of the list. It is there as a reference as to where good service has been obtained.

KELLY: You only HAVE to go to a Workhorse ASC if you need warranty or recall work done. Generally, they are more likely to have a better selection of parts on hand, and their techs generally are more knowledgeable about Workhorse specific CHASSIS repairs. Not sure I would use one for typical coach & body repairs.

Regarding Redland's T & RV, I know Keith Shomaker (owner) personally and believe him to be among the most knowledgeable and reputable Workhorse ASCs out there. They will not be cheap, but if you've got a CHASSIS problem, it will be worth the drive and you're likely to get it fixed right, the first time. Ed

Harold, yes so I do have some handling sway issue mostly when Im towing the toad. I would like an alignment, and speak about my issue. Maybe a track bar or shocks. Also front seems to ride low even with the air bags filled. Now I no I can get it alignment at La Mesa RV, this is where I bought the rig and they did all the warranty work. This included replace a bad injector and air compressor for the AC.

So do you think I should seek out a spot like Redlands Truck and RV or if La Mesa RV can do the alignment or for that matter Ricks RV can align also and I have had good service with them should I stay here in town?

Ed, thanks. You answered what I was looking for.
