Workhorse Service Center Locations - Google Map
=-> Hey guys we finally did it! <-=
All the Workhorse Authorized Service Centers (WASC) are now listed and can be seen on our very own Google Map which is available in this thread, Workhorse Important Discussions. I hope that you will find this resource useful.
The current database is dated 1/11/11. We are going to update that to 5/1/12 shortly. We should be getting updates every 60 days or so.
If you look at the bottom left of the window, you will see a line that says:
" View Workhorse Service Centers in a full screen map." When you click on that link you will go full screen. Now look again toward the bottom of the page (you're going to like this), look for, "Download Workhorse Service Centers Google Earth (KML)"
If you click on this link, this will "Google Earth" every service center and you can zoom in and actually see what the place looks like.
Back up toward the top right side of the map you can change the terrain features using the "MAP" drop down box.
You can thank AndyR for compiling this resource for us.
I want to thank Alan Stegich, the Workhorse National Service Director who extended this opportunity to us.
Alan will be offering a seminar at the upcoming WCMC Rocket City Rally in Decatur, AL at the Point Mallard Campground this coming October. If you want to meet him, this would be the time to do so.

I am reminded of the words of one Samuel Clemmons (Mark Twain) who said "The rumors of my demise are greatly exaggerated".
I do not think Navistar is in any great danger. Bankruptcy has a couple of different chapters (Several in fact) in some cases you are tossing in the towel and liquating,
IN other cases you survive more or less intact.
IF Navistar files.. It is likely to be the latter.

Exactly what my boss said. A ch-11 could benefit everyone (except stockholders).

And possibly RV OWNERS!
In the past, a bankruptcy declaration has also been used as a means of eliminating WARRANTY liability-just ask the folks who purchased a Monaco coach one day, and found out the next day they were SOL, with NO coach manufacturer's warranty.
