I downloaded the WH service manual. It's really nice to have on my computer but I would have been a little disappointed if I had bought it with the hopes it would tell me how to do some , even basic , every 3000 or 7500 mile maintenance.
I work in road construction so I have to get involved with some minor repairs and winter maintenance in the slow winter season. Most of our eqipment is Caterpillar, but not all. In their basic maintenance manual, (I don't get involved with their major repair manual) , it pretty much walks you thru step by step how to do all the scheduled maintenance items.
Does any one have or know if WH has a svc. manual for sale that actually tells you haw to perform the scheduled maintenance items? I know most of the items are pretty routine but in particular ,what I am concerned about now is the Autopark. It's a one of a kind system and very few people, especially me, but even many good mechanics know nothing about this setup.
In the Workhorse owners manual "Scheduled maintenance" section it says to "check and adjust" the "autopark" system (if equipped) at 3000 miles for city and 7500 miles for highway driving.
That's it. It says nothing about how to adjust it or check it. Does any one know what there is to adjust and how to do it. Or is there a good maintenance book that explains this.
I'd really appreciate it any one has done this, if you'd share your knowledge from your experience. Thanks
PS I already know I could take it to the WH svc center if I had plenty of time and money, which I'm short on both.
