I've been paying close attention to "UFO" offerings from the various motor home manufacturers. With respect to The Winnebago and Itasca, the inside looks absolutely gorgeous, but not the exterior shape! I like the exterior shape of the Monaco LaPalma and Holiday Rambler Vacationer "UFO"s, but they only come with a miniscule 242" wheel base and the 38PLT floor plan has two chairs and a table in the back bedroom, which is about as usefull as a mules backside. I would much rather see a full wall wardrobe/closet combination. Right now I don't have enough knowledge about the Forest River Georgetown version to feel comfortable, but at least you get the 262" wheel base on the 39'+ model. So that leaves the Georgie Boy Cruise Master 39'+ version of the Workhorse "UFO" and I really like the exterior pictures. I believe it will also use the 262" wheel base chassis, but so far I haven't seen any floor plans. Georgie Boy is owned by Coachman Industries and I'm not quite sure how I feel about that. I would really like to see Tiffin Motor homes come out with some version of the "UFO" and I'm 100% certain, that if they do get the "UFO", it will sell well. Bottom line, I like the "UFO" concept, I just have to find one with the long wheel base that has a floor plan and an exterior that I find pleasing. Hopefully more manufacturers will jump on this "UFO" band waggon and give us all more choices to select from. That is how I see it! Chuck/bagman.
