Looking for comments on the shifter difference between the push button and the column shifter. Would you change the type you have? Do you wish you had the option of the push button?
Lloyd.

Few OEMs opt to buy the Ahrens push button shifter because of cost. National RV buys some in their W24 LX model but I haven't seen too many others. The UFO has a push button shifter but that's the only way it'll work.
It would be great if you could simply check a box and order the push button shifter option from the OEM if you wanted it. The PBS also gives you a little more diagnostic ability in the readout as well. I do know that the 3000MH PBS does for sure in the R-Series.

I would love one!
The gas Mountain Air uses the shift pad. But, alas, the gas Mountain Air has been discontinued for 2008.

Lloyd: I have a 06 Dolphin LX, W-24, with the push button shifter and I love it. One of the reasons I bought the unit

I second RattlenRam's comments, I would not buy a chassis without this item. Simply takes too much time trying to "find" the gear with a column shifter.
