Does anyone know the Workhorse part number for the 8.1l water pump? Model year is 2002 8.1L WH18. Also if you happen to know if there is a cross reference to GM Part #, Napa. I know these are not the same as in a regular truck.

The Workhorse part # is W8000530 and runs about $300 from Workhorse according to their Price Sheet
But, if you take the casting number 12558870 and look that up you will find one on eBay for about $165.

Hey check out this site.. Rock Auto has them for less than $100! Look up Chevrolet, 2004, Avalanche 2500, cooling system, water pump.

The above post is incorrect... it points to the wrong pump. I will post the correct part number once I confirm it.

Dale, looks like a c3500 2002 has pump that matches your
"correct" picture.

The correct AC Delco # is 252-783.... This info provided by Glenn at OEM-Engineering

As usual Dale, right on the mark. These things get cheaper with the more information I get. Beats the $300+ and is brand new AC Delco. Thank you again for looking this up for me.
