Looks like Workhorse is using new badging!

And soon W24 on the rear cap.

D'ya think the parts reference books will change and start referring to 496 instead of 8.1 liters? LOL

Heck, I think it looks good but then my better half calls all my good stuff "Gommer Stuff"
So I have a "no count" opinion

Maybe it will go faster & get better mileage. Now we go from liters back to cubic inches --

The US has never adopted the metric system and I'm from the old school....265, 283, 327, 348, 409, etc.

I was thinking about having 24 made up for aftermarket sale but the reception here is dismal.

The W24 for the rear cap may have a more favorable reception from W24 owners.

This, Allison, 496 Cubic Inches, W24 stuff doesn't flip my pancake. Reminds me of the little Rice Rockets and the other Roller Skates running around with 32 Valve, Double OHC, FE, 4X4, etc, etc, posted on the vehicle's exterior. Who really gives a Rat's butt? The WH /Vortec emblem is enough, I personally like it.
I remember the day's when someone wanted to know what was under that hood would ask. Keep it simple and clean.
I agree with Fred, it's tacky and also it's cheap free advertising. If you haven't already gathered, I'm not for it and I don't like it. I vote, NO.

ps, pesonally, I believe we should have made a greater effort and went to the Metric system 20 or so years ago.

Pat

You also dislike the Z07 or ZR1 Corvette badging??

Workhorse's 8100 (cc) stock badging rather than utilizing 8.1 (L) is more Rice Rocket than 496 cubic inches, IMHO.

BTW, why the W24 and 4X4 in you sig line?

It must be a farewell gesture for the last of the big blocks.
Where can I get one? Just the sticker , I mean?
I'd buy 2 if that the only way to get em.

No Tom, I didn't mention the Z07 nor the ZR1. Excuse me but I am not familiar with them.

BTW, the W24 and the 4x4 is in my sig line because that seems to be the way they do it here on iRV2. But! I would not post it on the side of my coach. What is your point?

Also, BTW, I like my coach brand and I think highly of Work Horse, most of the time, and I believe the way the advertising, badging, is currently being displayed is done in good taste. Few choice words or a well known logo speaks volumes. Leave it alone, it's Good the way it is.

Engine size has long ago become a metric thing of which I'm not fond of but can live with. I just wish I would quit trying to compute metric CC's back to Cubic Inches.
