Workhouse wiper control module location

Greetings all,
I am the proud owner of a 2006 HR Admiral 34 foot motorhome. It has a workhorse Chas is. The windshield wipers only operate in fast mode. Wiper motor and steering column switch have need replaced. Believe the problem is with the wiper control module but cannot locate it. Beards this may have been a recall issue. Really need photo or location of control module.

Thanks
Fred

Hi Fred! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Congrats on the new rig! Sorry I can't help with your question. I would call Monaco Tech Support if you don't get an answer here! Keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Tell you the truth I'm not sure, maybe John knows. All I know for sure is it solved my problem with the wipers. I also wrapped the wire connector with waterproof tape that leads to the wiper assembly and attached it above the airflow coming in from the grill, the rain is not a factor anymore.

Good luck,

If you mean regarding the transmission position indicator lights, no. From what I understand that is there so when they were driving the bare chassis around the lot, they could see what gear it was in. Otherwise all it does is control the wiper system.

I have also noted that the windshield washer only operates when the wiper speed selector switch is in the fast setting. I plan to replace the referenced control module in mid August after school starts. I'll keep the forum posted.

This is a great group. Thanks again.

Thanks for that info .
Do you have any idea what years used the module ?
Is it common to all W-22 and 24 chassis?
But I still wonder if the module is involved in the gearshift interlock control and if that module failing could result in an , unable to shift out of park condition; or if it's just a shift position indicator .
Sorry to bother you with these questions , but I have several friends with coaches on W-22 chassis and try to keep ahead of any possible issues.

No it won't effect transmission gearshift position, it's just an indicator only. All of the W series use this module, the P series uses a pulse module that looks quite different though Click image for larger version

Thank all of you for your assistance. I ordered the part described and installed it yesterday. Works like a champ. What a great resource.
