Well, we finally got the call that we are high enough on the "list" to set an appointment for the brake recall.

We have a 2005 W20 Chassis with 40K miles. No problems at all with brakes. We are the original owners.

What is a far "worst case" cost for having the brake recall done. Assume they find the pads should be replaced and the rotors have "bad" cracks.

About how long should it take to complete this job? - calipers, seals, rotors, and new pads assuming everything is in stock.

This is not a Select Service Center. The nearest Select Center is another 75 miles further and they do no take appointments.

Thanks

laplatarosa, Worst Case Scenario; $1495.00 out the door including taxes IF the dealer is a Select Service Center.

Most folks don't need that type of service however "IF" you want to leave the dealership with "All New Brakes" on the wheel ends then this would be an option!

I had my recall done and I only needed rear pads. About $100.00 out the door.
