Actually I was just at the Bonneville Salt Flats last month. I'm thinking that this setup would work pretty good.

Cruzer;
You should stop at Maxton, NC for the East Coast Timing Association races. I stopped in April on our way home from FL at the invitation of a Bluebird owners group. Not Bonneville but many ran over 200mph on the measured mile on the 1.9 miles track. Can't beat the price with free camping, $5 a person for all weekend! And you can park and see the track through your windshield.
I'll possibly be there October 27-28-29 on our way to Myrtle Beach.
Tom

I am there most every meet and am one of those 200mph club members. In fact the main reason I bought my coach is to travel back and forth to the ECTA events to race the various motorcycles I build and race. I currently hold about 25 or so motorcycle records and I have to admit. After a weekend of running 200mph all weekend on 1-2 wheels it makes driving the coach (pulling a trialer) home at 65 mph a chore. I honestly wish I could do 80 all day but the 8.1 often has less hp than the bikes I am riding that weigh only 400-500lbs.

Visit the Ultrapoweer threads now in progress.
