It is typical for these brakes to push to the floor if you continue to push them hard. It is most common in vacuum assisted brakes that uses a mechanical vacuum pump or a P/S pump assisted system. The test is to turn off the vehicle and pump it up a few times. Then push hard on the brakes. If they hold solid, then nothing is wrong. If they continue to bleed down, then suspect an issue. The key is to stop the rig and hold just enough pressure to keep it from moving. The pedal should typically have little movement at this time.
