Good afternoon all,
1995 F53 Newmar Mountain Aire fuse box: I have read several of the threads on the subject of location the fuse box under the dash. Everything I read states to lift the dash. The fuse box will be hiding below. I removed the screws holding the dash from above and lifted. Not a whole lot of give there! I tried to peek under but could not see. Are the wires on the dash components long enough not to pull out? Should the dash just rock forward? I do not want to wind up with a non functional motorhome.
P.S. On the left side panel in the drivers cockpit their are breaker buttons.
Thanks in advance for any help (photos especially appreciated :-)

You may e trying to raise too much, or too little, of the dash. The whole instrument panel should lift and tilt toward the windshield. Look down near the steering column for a strap snapped into place holding the dash down.

Are you talking about the two fuel boxes that Ford installed or one that was placed by Newmar?

Welcome dodger34 to irv2.
This brochure shows the dash panel through windshield scroll down.
I believed the dash had two clip latches that had to be released and dash would raise up. The wiring harness should have slack to do this.
The fuse panel should be under it. You didn't say what fuse your looking for the chassis fuses should be out side under the hood mounted to fire wall.
If you go to Quick Tips link in my signature you can find information about your coach in the link.

I lost power to the radio. I am not sure if it was connected properly anyway because it was powered full time. I used the feed for the CB. It runs through the ignition switch. I am getting ready to travel soon so I will look into it more later.
Thanks to all who responded,
Dodger

p.s. 007 I could not get the PDF you listed to load on my machine. not sure if it is my machine or your file...
