Does anyone know how many teeth and what color the VSS gear is for the 1995 F53?

It's never a good thing when you Google for an answer and the original question here pops up as a search result.

Have you tried to download a service or owners manual from Ford?

I have all the Ford manuals and this is left out in all of the Ford manuals.
But I have learned that it is a Black 20 tooth gear.
I can find no information for the driven gear on the shaft going into the brake from the transmission.

This seems to be only used on the F53/59 from 19??-1998.

For those that do not know what we are talking about here are two photos of the VSS.
If anyone knows what the hanging plug is in the photo please tell me.
