1998 Winnebago Chieftain on 1999 F53 V10 - 53k miles

We just bought this RV, our first, just to see if we like this way of traveling. After two trips over 5k miles, we love it! I need not tell this group why.
We wanted to buy a "fully" depreciated coach just in case it wasn't our thing...
I did some investigation before I bought this coach, looking at several others 98's and 99's across a few states. I paid 27k for this and since then have seen 98's with far fewer miles...15k to 25k range. Heck, I thought 53k for a 13 yr old coach was reasonable.
Im posting to get your honest opinions, whether they make me feel good or bad.

Accidentally hit send button before I was done with post..The coach was recently upgraded..new carpet, flooring, sink, faucets, LCD HD TVs. , window cornices, couch...Very clean...2011 tires in the dual rears, 2007 tires in front..
- did I pay too much?
- is 53k miles still youthful for this chassis?

53k miles for 13 years old is about average what I've seen. Many RV's get less than 5k miles per year. If it is in good shape with all the updates, new tires, nice paint then just be happy with it and don't second guess what you paid. Just make sure you use it. If it sits it doen't matter what you pay.

Don't worry about what you paid for it, you'll just make yourself sick if you keep looking at the classifieds. It's yours now, enjoy it. It sounds like you got a great deal since you got the newer V-10 chassis. I bought the same year and got the old 460 V-8 with the smaller wheels/tires, I should be asking you if I got a good deal!
I would be more leery of the lower mileage coaches. Less use is actually bad for the engine. Seals can dry out from lack of use, rings can get stuck from improper storage and so on.
