1999 F53 ABS control module

Does anyone know of a Company that rebuilds these modules or where I could find a replacement? Thanks for any ideas. Have replaced the differential and tranny speed censors but still having problems.?

Abs

Having irratic shifting at slow speed. Changed speed sensors in Tranny and differential. Shifting improved but still not right at slow speed on a steep pull. Speedometer quit working and Abs light came on when irratic shifting started.

My understanding is " No speedometer, no ABS "

Because the ABS uses speed info, If the speedometer don't work the ABS light will come on.

Contact Subford on this fourm. He will id which sensor. Find the chassis built date for him.

Twin boat is correct. Contact Subford, he will steer you in the right direction.

Usmcone,
Please come back when fixed and let us know what the problem was.

Here's a discussion about a speedometer not working and another member, spiderRV tagged along with Trans shifting problem. The shifting problem turned out to be noise from his inverter causing his problem. You can send Subford a PM from there.
