When viewing my F53 from the front or back, the body is noticably lower on the right than the left. I assume it needs shocks - I don't know if they've ever been replaced. Does this sound about right?

Ralphie251, Shock absorbers are not going to make your motorhome list. They just sorta hang out and wait for stuff to happen. What does control list is whether or not you may possibly have a problem with a spring.

Ruling out a mechanical problem one has to look at weights and balance and air pressures.

My 1999 Brave 35U does the same thing. I installed AirLift air bags front and rear. I can put more air in the right side and level it. They also made a big difference in handling in wind and lean on turns.

You should start by verifying if the problem is mechanical or weight distribution. I would get the rig weighed at the four wheels first to see if it is just a need to redistribute some of the heavy items from the right to the left side.

We do tend to put the most used heavy stuff in the bins on the right side of our rigs so we won't have to walk around to the other side lugging the heavy loads.

Your Suncruiser like my Adverturer has the weight of the basement air unit on the right hand side which is also where my galley, fresh water tank and water heater are located so I load with this in mind as logical placement of items based only on my conveiniance does not overide the need to balance to load.

Regards,

Thanks all,
Tanks are empty and tire pressure is consistant all the way around. It may have been this way since I bought it used 2 years ago - my wife noticed it following me in the car. I was of course hoping for the best since I was going to replace the shocks anyway. At this point I'll have it looked at. Thanks again.

Take it to a good spring company they will add springs where required. Most MH list to passenger side because kitchen, Gen, batteries etc mounted on that side by MFG.
Once the coach is level than add air bags if you like but also replace the shocks for a better ride first.
